Md. Tanver Hossain is the Executive Director and the key management leader of the Association for Community Empowerment (ACE); and Chief Executive Officer of CHARKA Consulting. He provides visionary, knowledge-based, strategic leadership for the effective implementation of the ACE’s mission and goals. He assists the organization including designing programs and strategic plans, infrastructure, culture, and competencies necessary to grow as an internationally respected organization. Most recently, Tanver served as General Secretary of ICAN Trust, BCC Advisor of SNV Netherlands Development Organization, Communication Specialist of USAID's HFG Project at Abt Associates Inc.; Coordinator of Communication and Partnership at USAID's Bengal Tiger Conservation Activity (Bagh), and Coordinator of Communication and Business Development at WildTeam Bangladesh. In addition to this, he has provided consulting support to many renowned organizations in Save the Children, The British Red Cross, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Independent University, Bangladesh; Plan International; Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK).
