About Me:
Dr. Nafis Rahman works as a public health consultant at the Association for Community Empowerment (ACE). Nafis is overviewing the development of the protocol, module tools and literature review of research
Before joining ACE, Dr. Nafis was a project officer at Jhpiego Bangladesh.
She focuses on clinical research, urban health, antimicrobial resistance, and health policy research. She also has expertise in both communicable and non-communicable diseases.
As a voluntary Advisory Board Member for the Nutrition in City Eco-system (NICE) project, Dr. Nafis is a public health aspirant and health research expert. In addition to that she has considerable research experience at the Swiss Tropical Public and has worked on USAID’s MaMoni MNCSP: Emergency Response to Covid-19 Pandemic Project.
She obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Faridpur Medical College Hospital and her Masters of Public Health in Epidemiology from American International University Bangladesh.
